What is an Attitude Apprenticeship?

The Attitude Apprenticeship Scheme is a work based learning programme where you are employed and participate in a structured learning programme – in other words ‘Learning while you are Earning’.

You will work towards a nationally recognised Advanced Apprenticeship Certificate in Building Controls Engineering over a four year period.

To include:

Technical Certificates –Theory:

The Attitude Apprenticeship course is a level 3 diploma in Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) which compromises Trend product training, technical training in BEMS &: Electrics followed by work based learning & on the job assessments.

Functional Skills

The course also includes functional Skills in English, Maths and IT which we embed in the learning to show “real life” examples of how these key skills are used in the workplace.

Employment Responsibilities and Rights (ERR):

Theory and Practical. This aspect of the Apprenticeship focuses on Health, Safety and Employment Law.

Trend Training

In addition you will follow a comprehensive range of Trend Product Training and other specialist Building Controls courses.

The Attitude Apprenticeship Scheme is looking for special people – People Like You –
with the right ATTITUDE!

We are currently looking for male and female Apprentices to fill a number of vacancies across the UK

But you must:

• Be highly motivated
• Practical, with a ‘hands on’ approach
• Have initiative
• Be inquisitive and open to learning
• Able to communicate with a wide range of people
• Committed to achieving a full Advanced Apprenticeship

In addition you will need:

• A minimum of 5 GCSE’s at Grade C or above to include English, Maths and Science
• A willingness to be assessed for colour blindness
• Ability to work at heights
• Ability to work in confined spaces
